Two Chapters Become One Club. In 2026 the Northern and Southern Chapters merged into one. Bloodhounds West will now represent the following geographical areas: California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and Hawaii.

One Club, Two Chapters. Bloodhounds West, Inc. was established in October 10, 1974 and is composed of two separate chapters (Northern and Southern) whose members work together toward a common goal.

Our Mission Statement: “To work together to promote quality in the breeding of purebred Bloodhounds, and to protect and advance the interest of the breed. To host events, for the purpose of supporting efforts in Public Education, Rescue, and future functions, by encouraging participation by all Club members”.

Bloodhounds West, Northern Chapter is organized to include the following southwest geographical areas: California from the Oregon border, south including all counties north of those listed under BW Southern chapter, and the states of Nevada, and Utah.

Bloodhound West, Southern Chapter is organized to include the following southwest geographical areas: California from the Mexican Border, north including, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles, Riverside, Orange, San Bernardino, Imperial, Inyo counties, and the states of Arizona, and Hawaii.
